FILLED my SSD with tmp files and left them there
The first thing I did with Dr. Web, naturally, was to run a ful scan. It ran all 4 cores at 100% on my rMBP (per TechToolPro) and got the fan running on high; my thought was "great, its doing the scan as fast as possible." When it was over, Id gone from about 190G free to less than half a Gig free. Poking around, I discovered that most of this new material was in a TMP folder. After checking some of the folder contents, I deleted it and had my drive back.
The next day (today), however, I tried to open a long document Ive been working on for a month or so and discovered it had been truncated to 48K. Maybe coincidence but I doubt it.
